1. Payments and Bookings

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment. Full payment is required to confirm booking..
​
2. Cancellation and Refunds
​
If a client cancels before the course date, the following refunds apply:
​
More than 28 days: Full refund minus £25 discretionary admin fee
Less than 28 days: No refund given
​
If the client wishes to change a booked and confirmed course date, a discretionary fee of £100 on top of the fee already paid may be charged. This is to allow us to honour our bookings with guides we have already hired. Change of dates and fees will be subject to LMGs’ discretion and availability.
​
In the event that LMG have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of the fee paid will be offered or an alternative date if applicable. Clients will be responsible for their own expenses including travel costs etc in this unlikely event.

3. Insurance
​
Clients are advised to take out appropriate personal accident and cancellation insurance for their activity.

4. Payment Methods

Payments can be made securely via our website with the following credit and debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Amex, ChinaUnionPay, Jcb, Diners, CartesBancaires, Discover, Electron, Maestro

5. If it is clear from the outset that the advertised or primary objective is not feasible on the grounds of safety, particularly due to adverse weather, then an alternative objective will be offered for the same date(s). If clients choose not to accept the alternative options available, this will be viewed as a cancellation resulting in no refunds given.

6. Clients will be expected to supply their own food, accommodation and transport to the course/mountain venue
​
7. Clients agree to pay the full cost of any damage done to hired or borrowed equipment due to negligence or deliberate misuse
​
8. It is the responsibility of all clients to make LMG aware of any medical condition that may have affect their participation on the course.
​
9. LMG reserve the right to exclude any member from participating in planned mountain activities they might endanger the success or safety of the rest of the party through lack of fitness, ill-health or dangerous technique or is believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In these circumstances no refunds can be given.
​
10. No guarantee is made for clients to reach the summit of a particular peak. Safety is paramount and overrides any particular objectives for the day. Clients must agree to follow guides’/instructor’s decisions in terms of safety when on the mountain.
​
11. Any members of our courses who act in contravention of the decisions or advice of their Guide, or who undertake independent mountaineering activities during the course period, forfeit all professional protection and duty of care from the Guide.
​
12. People under the age of 18 are welcome to participate in any of the activities offered, provided they are accompanied at all times by either a parent or legally-appointed guardian.
​
13. No pets will be allowed on any course, except in the case of service animals. In this circumstance, LMG will require notice at the time of booking so that appropriate considerations can be made regarding choice of activity/venue.
​
14. For the purposes of fulfilling the obligations of the UK General Data Protection Regulation, a full Privacy Policy is available to view.
​
15. All terms and conditions between clients and LMG are to be governed by and held under the exclusive jurisdiction of Scottish Law and heard in a Scottish Court of Law.
